Honors Scientific and technical visualization ii
Course Description
This course provides students with advanced skills in the use of complex visualization tools for the study of mathematical and/or sciences concepts. Students design and develop increasingly complex data and concept driven visualization models. Focusing on scientific and technical concepts, students learn how to communicate and analyze phenomena using statistical, graphic, and conceptual visualization computer applications. Communication, computer, technical, mathematics, and science skills are reinforced in this course. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course are apprenticeship, internships, and cooperative education. Hands-on activities will provide many opportunities to enhance classroom instruction and career development.
